I’m in the midst of a love affair with the Glacier Collection from Creative Memories!  I’ve already used up two packs of paper and two packs of stickers.  I also have to admit to going out in single digit freezing weather just to get some snow photos to use with this beautiful collection!  Once I started making pages, I couldn’t stop.  So I have a few layouts to show you today.

My first page might be my favorite!  I used a page sketch that Creative Memories shared with advisors and gave it my own twist.

To make my page, cut the birch bark paper to 11.5″ x 11.5 and mount on 12″ x 12″ navy cardstock.  To conserve cardstock, you may cut out the center of the navy cardstock first.  Cut four strips from the snowfall paper that measure 2.5″ x 10″, notch the ends, and then following the same angle cut off a 3/4″ chevron shape.  Rub black chalking ink or the side of a wide point black pen around the edges of the pieces.

From the Variety Mats, fussy cut a series of trees and ink the edges.  My photos are 4″ x 4″ and matted with navy paper.  My journaling box is a Variety Mat cut to 4″ x 4″ and also matted.  Assemble the page by tucking the bottom edges of the photos and journaling box under the trees.  I used Foam Squares to adhere my trees and the center photo.  Place the lovely vine border sticker across the bottom of your trees, and add the title sticker and fern stickers.  Adhere pinecone, bird, and snowflake stickers with Foam Squares.

My second layout is a fun snowman-making page!  I have a lot of ideas happening on this page, but I think it works as a background to highlight one large photo .

To make this page, cut the blue paper to 11″ x 11″.  To evenly space your punched out snowflakes, flip the blue paper over and measure to the center of the page.  Use the Snowflake Trio Punch to punch snowflakes in the center.  Punch more snowflakes from each edge of the paper.  And then center the punch between the center snowflakes and the edge snowflakes to make your last two punches.  (Unfortunately, the Snowflake Trio Punch sold out quickly and is no longer available.  So if needed, substitute other snowflake punches.)  Adhere the blue paper on top of the knit print paper.

Using the Victorian Border Punch, punch fences from white and brown cardstock.  Adhere the white fence behind the brown fence to look like snow.  Use the Original Border Maker System with Snowman Cartridge to punch a row of snowmen from white cardstock.  Cut off of your cardstock at 2″.  Adhere snowmen to the fence, and cut the entire border to 7.5″ wide.

To make the large snowmen, use the Custom Cutting System with the largest Circle Pattern and cut a circle from white cardstock using the blue blade on the inside edge.  Cut a circle from white cardstock and another from the knit print paper using the medium size Circle Pattern and the green blade on the inside edge.  From the knit paper circle freehand cut scarf pieces.  Also freehand cut arms and a nose from cardstock.  Use the old Button Trio Punch to punch three buttons.  Assemble the pieces as shown.  Repeat for the smaller snowman using the medium sized circle pattern with blue blade on inside edge and the smallest Circle Pattern with the red blade on the inside edge.  The heart is a punch out from the Border Maker System with Heart Chain Cartridge.

To finish your page, mat your photo with royal cardstock and knit print paper.  My photo is cropped to 5.75″ x 5″.  Add journaling boxes and stickers as shown.  Use Foam Squares to adhere some of the punched out snowflakes, and use a black pen to add detail to the snowmen and snowman border.

My next layout features large snowflakes that I created with the new Daisy Bouquet Punch, the new Arrow Border Maker Cartridge, and the old Star Maker punch.

Cut the snowfall paper to 11″ x 11″ and adhere to navy cardstock.  To conserve cardstock, you may cut out the center of the navy cardstock first.  Use the Border Maker System with new Arrow Cartridge, the new Daisy Bouquet Punch, and the old Star Maker to punch pieces for your snowflakes.  Layout the pieces for the large snowflake on your paper to get the spacing and design figured out before you start adhering.  The Precision Point Adhesive Pen is

very handy for this.  Use a navy pen to add detail, and use Foam Squares to add dimension.

Select a Variety Mat with a title, and mat it with navy cardstock.  Also mat photos with navy cardstock.  Use the Original Border Maker System with Snowflake Chain Cartridge to punch borders from white and navy cardstock, and adhere navy borders behind the white.  Trim borders to size and adhere.  This page would also look nice with the snowflake borders going horizontally.  I positioned mine vertically to evoke the feeling of the large icicles in my photos.

After a recent snowfall, we took a special drive to see snow on the mountain.  So with this title on my mind, I knew that I needed to make some mountains for my last layout.

To make my mountains, use the Custom Cutting System with the diamond from the Gemstone Cutting Patterns.  My large mountains are cut using the red, green and blue blades on the outside edge.  My small mountains are cut using the red and green blades on the inside edge.  Cut matching pieces from white cardstock, and use your All-Purpose Scissors to add rounded edges.  I used black chalking ink on the edges of my mountain and snow pieces.  Assemble the mountains as shown and adhere the smaller mountains with Foam Squares.

Use the Original Border Maker System with the Snowflake Chain Cartridge to punch borders for the tops of your pages.  I used the old Word Bubble Punch to make snow clouds that I also edged with black ink and adhered a few with Foam Squares.  Mat your photos with navy cardstock and use Navy ABC Stickers for your title.  Add the tree and house stickers as shown.
