Hello! Today I’m sharing two layouts that I created with a drapery fold technique. Instead of written instructions, I’ve provided three instructional videos that I shared with my Facebook group, Karyn’s Croppers. If you’re not a member of Karyn’s Croppers, you might like to join my private group. I shared info about Creative Memories products and specials, my events – both in-person and virtual, and also scrapbooking ideas and inspiration. On alternating Tuesdays, I share a Technique Tuesday post that features a traditional scrapbooking technique with an instructional video. You’ll find these in the Album section of Karyn’s Croppers. I shared the layouts below and the technique videos in my most recent Technique Tuesday post.

When selecting paper for your drapery piece, it’s important to select double-sided paper with a contrast between the two sides. For my first layout, I used the new All My Love collection from Creative Memories. Although it’s our new wedding collection, the All My Love Paper and All My Love Flower Embellishments are neutral enough to be used with all kinds of photos. The All My Love Stickers and Variety Mats have sayings that are specific to weddings.
For instructions on how to create my first drapery piece, please view Videos One and Two below.

(Please watch Videos One and Two first.)

For my second layout, I created a mirrored drapery piece for a double-page layout. I used the Little Dreamer Collection for this example. I love the soft muted colors of this collection. The Little Dreamer Stickers and Embellishments are super sweet, and the embellishments are accented with beautiful gold foil. This is a gender-neutral baby collection, and most of the paper contains prints that can be used for all kinds of photos.

I hope that you give this technique a try and create many beautiful layous with it! You can purchase the Little Dreamer and All My Love Collections through my Creative Memories website link.
Happy Scrapping!
