One of the greatest joys of what I do is knowing that the layouts I share inspire you to preserve your precious memories. It warms my heart to think that those pages are finding a place in your family albums and bringing smiles to you and your loved ones for years to come.
As we enter this season of gratitude and togetherness, today’s layout is perfect for documenting your Thanksgiving celebration later this month. From gathering around the table to sharing favorite family traditions, these are the moments worth preserving!
For both of my layouts, I created oversized feather elements to make a bold statement! On this first layout, I used my handmade feathers to enhance the turkey embellishment from the Autumn Abundance Collection.
This tom turkey looks like he’s showing off his finest feathered finery, with his feathers all poofed out for maximum appeal! I love how adding dimension and size to a simple embellishment can transform an ordinary layout into something extra special.
To create my feathers, I used the Custom Cutting System and Oval Cutting Patterns. All of the papers and embellishments are from the Autumn Abundance Collection, and I added even more fall-inspired detail with the Wooden Fence Border Punch.

For my second layout, I switched things up with the Creative Memories Vivid Melodies 2 Collection, using the Pumpkin, Cranberry, and Dark Green papers and embellishments to create a beautiful fall-inspired design.
Unlike my first layout, this one doesn’t feature a turkey. Instead, I created a gorgeous, multi-layered fall border that takes center stage! I love how layering the papers and punched elements adds depth, texture, and visual interest to the page.
I used the (retired) Pumpkin Harvest Border Punch to help create this seasonal feature.
For both layouts, I also used the Creative Memories Die-Cutting & Embossing Machine with the Grateful Die-Cutting Set to cut my titles — the perfect finishing touch for layouts celebrating the season of gratitude.
